About me

Full-stack engineer with over 12 years designing, building and scaling enterprise web applications and event-driven backend systems across payments and healthcare. I work mainly in Java and Spring Boot microservices with Angular and React front ends, and in real-time streaming pipelines built on Apache Flink and Kafka that process hundreds of millions of events a day on Kubernetes in GCP and Azure.

At PayPal I own end-to-end observability and experimentation for PayPal App Switch, a consumer mobile checkout product now live across 5,000+ merchants in five countries. That means the real-time metrics that tell us a checkout is failing, the guardrails that gate a merchant rollout, and the A/B experiments that decide which merchants ramp and which roll back.

I am a dedicated learner — I hold a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Texas at Austin, and I stay current with cloud services through an affiliation with Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub on a personal project. I write here about databases, distributed systems, Kubernetes and algorithms — mostly to make sure I actually understand what I think I understand.
